As a cameraman, producer, and editor, I specialize in creating on-point content that achieves the goals of clients by filming interviews, testimonials, and relevant interesting visual content. Short movies, Pilots, Creative Content, and Documentaries
If you have a Budget and a Documentary, Youtube Streaming Series, Short Movie, or TV Pilot concept that needs to be Produced, Shot, and/or Edited, I might be interested. After working on at least 50 independent productions over the last ten years, and camera operating for several documentaries, I’ve come to know many industry professionals and capable independent movie makers (often they are the same people) in and around New Orleans. I have a MFA based on Film Production from the University of New Orleans, and before, during, and after acquiring that degree, I brought together crews, organized projects, set up auditions for talent, and truly enjoyed working as a key member of a team that created commercial and/or award winning creative content for both myself and others. I also know my capacity, and the capacity of those I know. If your project is “too big,” or I think another producer would be better for it, I’ll tell you straight up. In some cases, I can work with you to get your concept presented properly to the right producers.
Shot almost 10 years ago when I was just getting into the freelance videography market, and was still working with a hodgepodge of cameras, sound equipment, and lights (whatever I could scrape together really), this my first attempt at directing/producing a documentary. It delves into the laughter-fueled pursuits of four talented stand-up comics who once graced and embraced the New Orleans comedy scene. Comedy Rising was an offical selection of The New Orleans Film Festival upon its release.
The Book of Snake highlights the dangers of unchecked greed prevelent in the food service industry by exploring the traits and habits of various Pizza Snakes. The crew who put this together consisted of mostly film students as this was my Thesis film for a MFA degree. Many who worked on this ended up in the film industry full or part time, and we often work together on independent projects still. The Book of Snake was an official selection of The Orlando Film Festival.
